Commissioned by Huisken Watersport in Makkum, we crafted the woodwork for this Alu-Dutch Cabin. For this project we chose European oak: a strong, durable wood with a warm appearance and a lively grain.
The sleek aluminium hull and the oak create a beautiful contrast. The wood gives the boat character and a classic, familiar atmosphere on board, without detracting from its modern design. Every part was made to measure and carefully finished, so it not only looks good but also stands up to life on the water.
